Chief Executive Officer
Andy is responsible for KBC’s overall business and is a member of Yokogawa’s global executive team. He also heads KBC’s global products business. He is based in London, UK. As CEO, Andy led KBC through its acquisition by Yokogawa and the delisting on the UK AIM exchange. Prior to that, he managed KBC's technology business. He started his career with BP Exploration in the UK, after which he joined Hyprotech where he managed technology development. Following acquisition by Aspentech, he moved to Schlumberger, holding senior management positions related to oil and gas development and production. Andy holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK. In his spare time, Andy can be found cruising on one of his collection of Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Head of Global Consulting
Jon manages KBC’s global consulting business, comprising solution development, service strategy and quality and value delivery. He is based in Singapore. Jon has over 22 years of experience in the energy value chain across multiple geographic areas. Diversely experienced in managing and delivering complex transformational programs, Jon has deep functional expertise in operational excellence, lean manufacturing, and in-plant technology enabled operations improvement. Prior to joining KBC, Jon was in management consulting delivering large scale efficiency programs across many vertical sectors including FMCG, manufacturing, oil and gas, aviation and pharmaceutical. Jon holds a degree in Business and Managerial Economics from the University of Bolton, UK. In his spare time, Jon enjoys high intensity fitness training and, if time permits, (attempting) to play golf.
Executive Vice President, Sales
Mark is responsible for KBC’s global sales, and sales co-ordination with KBC’s parent company, Yokogawa. He is based in London, UK. He started his career with Mobil Oil (now ExxonMobil) in the UK where he held technical, operational and planning positions. Prior to joining KBC he led the refinery scheduling team. Mark started at KBC as a consultant and managed large projects, before moving into business development. He has led sales teams in Europe, Former Soviet Union, Middle East and Africa and most recently the key account management team. Mark holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK. In his spare time, Mark likes to keep fit by cycling and swimming to offset the effects of regular business trips.
Chief Finance Officer
Matt is responsible for financial management of KBC. He is based in Singapore. As Yokogawa’s General Head of Finance, Matt also shares a joint reporting line to Yokogawa financial headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. He leads their mergers and acquisitions program from a financial perspective, including Yokogawa’s acquisition of KBC. Matt started his career at Deloitte where he was an auditor. He joined Yokogawa North America as Financial Controller. He went on to serve as their CFO for 13 years and has since held global expatriate positions in Tokyo and Singapore. Matt holds a degree in Business Administration from The Citadel, USA, and is a registered Certified Public Accountant. In his spare time, Matt likes to read, debate geo-politics and play tennis and golf.
Global Human Resources Director
Suzy is responsible for KBC’s global organizational development and HR strategy. She is based in London, UK. Suzy has over 17 years' international HR experience at both strategic and operational level. Prior to joining KBC, she was Director of HR covering Europe, Middle East and Africa for PRG, the world's leading supplier of entertainment and event technology, and has held various HR management roles within the entertainment and retail industries. Suzy is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management. In her spare time Suzy enjoys spending time with her family, keeping fit and walking her dogs by the River Thames.
Senior Vice President Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Secretary
James is responsible for global financial planning and analysis. The role also includes office IT, administration and facilities. As Company Secretary he is responsible for administration of board affairs as well as legal, statutory and compliance matters. He is located in London, UK. James started his career at Winters, a City of London accountancy practice, after which he had senior roles as Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller in two UK public companies before joining KBC in 2000. James has a degree in Accountancy from the City of London Polytechnic (now London Metropolitan University), UK. In his spare time, James takes a very keen interest in his family and the sport of cricket.
Executive Vice President, Strategy and Marketing
Duncan is responsible for KBC’s business strategy and marketing function, including business planning; M&A / alliances; investment prioritization / capital allocation; and marketing. He is based in Houston, TX, USA. Duncan started his career in the engineering industry with AMEC, where he provided health, safety, environment and liability advice on mergers and acquisitions. After moving to KBC, he has held business management roles focused on business development, strategy, restructuring and planning. Duncan holds a degree in Biology and Geography from the University of Exeter, UK, an MBA from Cass Business School, UK and various Marketing qualifications from Cornell University, USA. In his spare time Duncan is an avid sportsman although his three young children ensure he has little spare time!
Chief Digital Transformation Officer (CDXO)
Oscar is driving both our clients' and our own internal delivery of the Digitalization journey, instilling a new value of 'being digital' with delivery, development, understanding and collaboration. He is based in Houston, TX, USA. He comes to KBC through Yokogawa’s recent acquisition of Soteica Visual MESA. Oscar founded Soteica upon graduation from university in Argentina. Through an alliance with Hyprotech, he managed their European operations from 1991 to 1994. He also led the merger of Soteica and Visual MESA and became CEO, forming the company that was later sold to Yokogawa. Oscar holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In his spare time, he follows motorcar sports and football (the one that actually uses feet!). He also offers friends the best Argentinian grill north of the equator!
